Sounds Queer entertain with an afternoon of music, poetry and more from a variety of LGBTQ+ artists. Pride is coming up so let's celebrate Sheffield's Queer history and take a closer look at the Proud! display currently on show at Weston Park Museum about LGBTQ+ History in Sheffield.

There will be a talk about the Proud! project and display from Clara Morgan, Curator of Social History at Museums Sheffield, with a chance to ask questions and share your own stories.

Sounds Queer is Sheffield's regular variety performance night centralising and celebrating LGBTQ+ artists. Their ultimate goal is to create a buzz around Queer artistry within South Yorkshire. They aim to be successful in platforming and championing diversity within the Queer community through as many art forms as possible. Sounds Queer strives to be a visible organisation who provide a safe and nurturing environment for Queer/Questioning people to engage in Queer Arts in Sheffield.
