Come and join us at one of our sites this October half term for free family activities.

Head to the Millennium Gallery on Mon 25 Oct and make your very own silver sculptures by folding silver card to create 3D geometric shapes in the style of British Sculptor, Mark Firth.

Up at Weston Park Museum, you can look up-close at some of our taxidermied owls, and create your own artwork inspired by your favourite species in our Awesome Owls craft session on Tue 26 Oct. Throughout the week, you’ll also be able to make a spooky flappy bat and pop-up pumpkin card when you visit the museum.

Do you want to do something frightfully fun to celebrate Halloween? Explore Kelham Island Museum after hours on Thu 28 Oct with spooky surprises and a trick or treat trail! Have a go at slime making, hear some chilling tales from our resident ghosts, and – if you dare – explore the underground in our spine-tingling cellar tour. Come along in your best Halloween fancy dress too!

Embrace the season and explore the leafy grounds of Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet on Fri 29 Oct. Collect some beautiful pieces of nature like fallen leaves and cones, and make your own autumnal Abbeydale collage!
