Sheffield-born artist Kenneth Steel created visuals for classic mid-century travel posters, architectural landmarks and iconic railway advertisements.

Find out more about Steel’s work with railways – alongside earlier and contemporary poster artists and illustrators – in this free lunchtime talk with Ed Bartholomew, Senior Curator, Railways and Research at the National Railway Museum, York.

This talk is part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Places in Time: The Art of Kenneth Steel, which is open at Weston Park Museum until Monday 2 May 2022.
