Tune in to our Facebook page on Wed 14 Apr at 1pm for our next online event!
Join us for a virtual look at the Proud! display at Weston Park Museum and hear about Sheffield’s LGBT+ history.
Sandra Baker Donnelly and Dr Chris Mowat will be picking out some interesting objects that tell the stories of LGBT+ lives in Sheffield and sharing their insight into working on the project.
Sandra Baker Donnelly is an LGBT+ historian and a founder member of Steel City Queer History and Dr Chris Mowat is an honorary research fellow at the University of Sheffield. Together with other members of Sheffield’s LGBT+ community, they co-curated the Proud! Telling LGBT+ Stories in Sheffield display.
If you can’t make the live broadcast, the video will be available to watch later on our Facebook Live page or on our Sheffield Museums Live archive page on our website.
