Art is an essential part of being human. Cave Painting is one of the earliest, most  mysterious of its forms – strange patterns and images of animals hidden deep within caverns.

Join Guerilla Archaeologist and award winning artist Paul Evans in a hands-on creative experiment, recreating these amazing works of art using ancient materials – and the hands, eyes and brains inherited from our Paleolithic ancestors.

The Mind in the Cave offers participants the opportunity to explore the mysterious abstract patterns observed in the earliest art, and to experiment with the role of memory in creating the stunning images of animals that we see in the cave paintings of Europe.
