How to get to Weston Park

Weston Park Museum
Western Bank
Sheffield
S10 2TP

Weston Park Museum is situated on Western Bank, close to Sheffield's Children's Hospital.

Plan your journey to Weston Park using the Traveline website.

By bus
Take the 51 (Lodge Moor direction) or the 52 (Crookes direction) buses from Arundel Gate, High Street or West Street.

By tram
The nearest tram stop is the University of Sheffield. From the tram stop walk past the university Information Commons buildings. Turn left and follow the road up the hill past the the Arts Tower on your right and the Students Union on your left. Continue straight ahead until you reach Weston Park on your right. The walk is about 650m (1/3 of a mile).

By car
The area around Weston Park Museum is particularly busy during the week and parking is limited. We recommend using public transport if you can.

Weston Park Museum does not have a car park of its own - the nearest public car park is the Q-Park on Durham Road. Visitors using this car park are able to claim 25% off the price of their parking – just ask a member of staff for a discount voucher (this discount is currently unavailable with pre-booked parking spaces). The disabled parking spaces at the top of Mushroom Lane are temporarily unavailable due to building works. There are a further three disabled parking spaces available toward the bottom of Mushroom Lane near the tennis courts (access to the museum from these is through the park). Blue badge holders may also park in the Pay & Display bays on Mushroom Lane, (near the Dam House entrance) and those on Damer Street near to the Weston Park gates without the need to pay or adhere to the 4 hour max stay. Similar Pay & Display bays are also available for use a little further away on Northumberland Road.

Alternatively why not use the park and ride tram facilities at Middlewood, Meadowhall and Nunnery Square (off the A630 / A57 / A61 Parkway)?

By rail
We recommend taking the tram directly from the railway station to Sheffield University. For buses from the station, it is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Leave the station, cross the road and walk straight up Howard Street, past Sheffield Hallam University. You will be able to see the Millennium Gallery at the top of the hill. Turn right at the Gallery and take the 51 bus from outside the Crucible and Lyceum Theatres.
