Who was Athena? How did Athens get its name? After answering these questions your class will build our Parthenon model, the Temple to Athena, which shows the internal as well as the external structure of this World Heritage monument.

They will learn how and why the Parthenon was built and look at how the Ancient Greeks left an amazing legacy in architectural design, influencing the style of our very own museum.

For a full day at the museum this workshop can be combined with a teacher led trail downloadable here.
