Feeling inspired by the things you’ve seen? There are lots of ways to get stuck in and find out more or have a go yourself. Check out the what's on pages for an up to date list of all events. These include:

  • Free lunchtime talks where you can find out more about the exhibitions and collections from a whole host of interesting people. You'll be able to meet artists, curators and guest speakers, and quiz them about their specialist subjects. Please check the event listings for upcoming talks.
  • There are weekly art classes inspired by the collections and life drawing sessions
  • You can learn new skills with a one day workshop or short course taking inspiration from the galleries. People have recently had a go at making teacosies, prints, clay figure sculptures, pewter bowls and chutney
  • Keep an eye out for special events too such as lunchtime concerts, Museum Lates, cooking demonstrations and live theatre.
