An Important Message from Museums Sheffield:

Unfortunately Martin Kemp, the speaker for this event has been taken ill and therefore tomorrow evening's talk will not be going ahead as planned.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

The talk has been rescheduled for Wednesday 24 April at 6.30pm. Your ticket will be valid for this talk - you don't need to do anything, just turn up.

If you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you are welcome to apply for a refund for your ticket via Eventbrite or by emailing events@museums-sheffield.org.uk. We will also be happy to exchange your ticket for any other equivalently priced talk as part of our Leonardo programme - please contact us and we can arrange this for you.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to call the events team on 0114 2782647 or email us on the above email address.

With apologies,
Rosie at Museums Sheffield

+++++

Leonardo da Vinci was a true polymath - painter, sculptor, architect, engineer (civil and military), anatomist, physicist, geologist…

Join Martin Kemp, author and Emeritus Research Professor in the History of Art at Oxford University, to discover how Leonardo saw ‘art’ and ‘science’ as sharing the same foundations.

The twelve drawings in our exhibition Leonardo: A Life in Drawing will provide an entry into Leonardo’s extraordinary vision, which Kemp says is not based on diversity but on an essential unity at the heart of the way that man and nature are designed.
