Want to discover and discuss the history of animals and circus?

Come along to our Circus Animal Soapbox evening to debate the past, present and future of animals in circus, from the first horses 250 years ago to the banning of wild animals in European circuses today.

Surrounded by the display of circus animals and artefacts in the the Circus! Show of Shows exhibition, you’ll hear five minute blasts from experts and opinion formers. But your opinion counts too. At the end of the evening, you’ll be asked to vote on essential issues surrounding animals in entertainment. Listen and be heard at this important and provocative night.
