*** This Bat Walk is now fully booked***

As part of Don Discovery Bioblitz, join our very own Curator of Natural Science, Alistair Mclean, for an evening walk along the River Don in search of bats.

The walk will involve detecting and identifying bat species with specialist equipment as they fly and forage above the water.  We will be looking out for the rare & wonderful Daubenton’s bats which fly inches from the water’s surface to catch their insect prey!

The walk starts from Club Mill Rd, Sheffield S6.  Remember to bring a torch, wear sensible shoes and wrap up warm.

Please contact  Sally Hyslop at sally.hyslop@dcrt.org.uk for more details.

This event is led by the Don Catchment Rivers Trust
