This richly illustrated talk will go behind closed doors, to explore the story of dolls’ houses at the V&A and the people who made, loved and collected them.

The talk consider the enduring appeal of the miniature world, and meet some of the remarkable women - including Flora Tate and Betty Pinney - who gave their names to dolls’ houses.

Exhibition curator Alice Sage will share some of the discoveries made while preparing the exhibition, and explain how using fictional characters to tell stories in the exhibition led to better understanding of the facts.
