Take inspiration from John Ruskin’s passion for looking closely and learning from objects. Join artist Kyra Cane to explore and draw the collections she has amassed over the years. Learn how to identify and capture the essential elements and characteristics of things that you are interested in. Suitable for all abilities. All materials provided.

This event is part of Drawing the Summer, a programme of exhibitions, events, and have-a-go activities to get Sheffield sketching morning, noon and night. From careful botanical drawings to super speedy charcoal sketches, awaken your inner artist and polish up your creative skills. Take a fresh look at the things around you and capture the moment or let your imagination roam.
