Find inspiration in the Graves Gallery for exploring materials and techniques with an experienced tutor and a friendly group. Sessions include drawing, watercolour, acrylic, ink, monoprinting and use of colour. Come along to as many sessions as you want. Basic materials are available but you may want to bring your own too.

Suitable for all abilities.

This term will focus on the human figure in art. This week will start with sketching in the gallery from Northern Race Meeting 1950 by LS Lowry (1887-1976). Back in the activity room you will use collage to create crowded street scenes using cut out figures from newspaper and magazines based on a white background.
