Support Our City’s Learning

We are committed to inspiring the next generation of curators, collectors and museum visitors. Our Learning Team work tirelessly to inspire our visitors and reach out to diverse communities across the city.

Last year, we welcomed over 16,800 children and young people into our spaces. We are proud to have worked with a school group from every postcode across the city region, demonstrating our commitment to engage the hardest to reach.

We are offering the opportunity for an individual, individuals or company to make a pledge to support our learning programmes.
• £60 could pay for a member of our team to deliver a morning workshop
• £500 could pay for a new interactive Mummy which children use to learn about the embalming process as part of our Ancient Egypt: Journey to the Afterlife workshop
• £1,500 could pay for a much-needed new Parthenon model which children can build as part of our popular Ancient Greece: Offerings for Athena workshop
• £2,500 could pay to deliver our full learning programme and community outreach activities for one month

Your support will ensure that we continue to bring our collections and exhibitions alive, creating an exciting environment that grows imaginations and encourages lifelong learning.

We are immensely grateful to all our donors and sponsors and will always ensure that we thank you and acknowledge your vital support, including via our website.
