Remembering Museums Sheffield in your Will

Wills Month, October 2018

Throughout October, Museums Sheffield is taking part in Wills Month in partnership with Wake Smith Solicitors who will be offering free appointments to discuss making or changing a will with a discounted rate for Museums Sheffield Friends and Supporters.

Each year, over one million people visit our free and welcoming museums and galleries. Remembering Museums Sheffield in your Will is a special way of ensuring the museums and galleries you love continue to thrive and to provide access to great art and heritage for everyone, every day.

Simple to do and exempt from inheritance tax, a gift in your Will – however big or small – will allow us to continue to care for and conserve the city’s collections on behalf of the people of Sheffield. Your legacy will help us to inspire the next generation of artists, collectors, curators and museum enthusiasts.

We understand that this is an important decision which you must make in your own time. If you have decided to remember Museums Sheffield in your Will and would feel happy letting us know, we would like to be able to thank you for your generosity. Please be assured that all information will be treated in confidence.

If you are ready to include Museums Sheffield in your Will, please use our registered charity number 1068850. If you would like further information or to discuss making a legacy gift, please contact Melanie Russell, Grants and Appeals Officer at or on 0114 278 2610.

Thank you for considering supporting Museums Sheffield in this very special way.
