Christmas Crackers
Friday 4 November 2011 - Sunday 8 January 2012
A feast of original craft and design, Christmas Crackers provides an inspired alternative to the High Street for this year’s Christmas shopping. Choose affordable gifts, from beautiful jewellery to stylish glassware and ceramics, all handmade by UK-based craftspeople.
Christmas Crackers celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and to celebrate we've created our largest selection of work yet, including original British jewellery, textiles, metalwork, ceramics and homeware to suit all budgets. The selling show will feature jewellery from Tamsin Howells, Kriket Broadhurst and Corrinne Eira Evans alongside accessories by Suzanne Devine. We also have a host of homeware, including ceramics by Timea Sido and glassware from Ingrid Phillips.
This year we continue to celebrate Sheffield’s own rich craft tradition, once again featuring work from a number of the city’s skilled makers. You'll find silverware by award-winning local silversmith, Charlotte Tollyfield, hand-printed textile notebooks and scarves from Sheffield craft entrepreneur, Sarah Waterhouse, as well as unique wooden vessels, furniture and decorations by John White.
