Drawing the Summer: A Life of Drawing and Making

Kyra Cane displays a new series of large porcelain bowls which explore drawing through incisions, inlays and stains on the surfaces. Kyra will also show images from sketchbooks she has filled over 20 years of drawing.
This pop-up, 2 day exhibition, is part of Drawing the Summer, a programme of exhibitions, events, and have-a-go activities to get Sheffield sketching morning, noon and night. From careful botanical drawings to super speedy charcoal sketches, awaken your inner artist and polish up your creative skills. Take a fresh look at the things around you and capture the moment or let your imagination roam.
