This Portraiture Photography Education Pack was created as a response to the Robert Mapplethorpe exhibition at Graves Gallery, Sheffield. However, it acts as a stand alone resource for teaching about portraiture photography.

Portraiture photography encourages students to learn about techniques such as composition, lighting & contrast, which support GCSE and A’ Level Art and Design. The subject material of portraiture photography offers cross curricular options with Citizenship as well as looking at aspects of Spiritual, Moral, Ethical, Social and Cultural (SMESC) issues for Key Stage 4. The pack includes worksheets, lesson plans and images to support your teaching and pupil learning.
