Museums Sheffield's Events Producer, Rosie Eagleton on how you can help us win a fantastic Museums at Night event at Weston Park.

Weston Park has been selected for the chance to collaborate with artist Janette Parris to create an unmissable public event as part of Culture24’s Museums at Night Connect10 competition. We'd love to bring Janette to Sheffield to tell a very different story of the museum's collections, but we’re competing against three other museums and need your votes!

For one night only, we want to transform Weston Park into an imaginative interactive menagerie of theatre, music and comedy – starring all the visitor favourites from our collections.  From fake tour guides and kitchen sink drama in the Park Hill Flat to a proprietor of our (almost) fully functional butcher’s shop and a natter with Snowy about the price of fish – we’d love Janette to come in and bring the museum to life like never before…

Voting open Tuesday 14 January – Tuesday 28 January 2014

If Snowy gets the night off - who is going to 'stand-in' for him? like Snowy!
