There are dozens of events happening at and around our museums and galleries this autumn and winter – here’s a whistlestop tour to give you an idea of what’s on offer:

Hands On – print-making, clay sculpture, drawing, crochet, pewter working, life-drawing and tea dancing (not at the same time).  Your chance to get creative and learn a new, rewarding skill – take the plunge!

Talks & Tours – Kid Acne, V&A curators, Guild of St George Ruskin lecture, Off the shelf festival, behind the scenes tours.  We’re particularly excited about our partners from the V&A bringing their knowledge and expertise toSheffield.

Performance – live music and dance. The dance-themed Ian Breakwell exhibition later this autumn gives us the chance to programme an accompanying range of activities and performances. We’re also pleased to host an extended range of live music performances in gallery spaces from our talented friends at the Sheffield University music department.

You can search all the new season events online here.

Top tips for booking: many of these events are free and you can just turn up on the day, however where an event is listed as ‘book in advance’ please be quick if you’re keen – our short courses in particular will sell out in advance.

Hope you can join us!
