From Friday 1 July 2011 increased opening hours will come into effect at the Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery and Weston Park.

The revised hours will see the Millennium Gallery increase its opening hours to 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday (11am-4pm Sunday) and Weston Park now opening 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday (11am-4pm Sunday). The Graves Gallery will also now  open an extra day a week (Wednesday-Friday, 10am-2pm and Saturday 11am-3pm).

Earlier this year opening hours at the city's museums and galleries venues were reduced as a result of a 12% cut to Museums Sheffield's budget. Since then, the new administration which took control of Sheffield City Council in May has fulfilled its pledge to restore some of those lost hours.
