The Great British Art Debate - Communities
The Great British Art Debate is a partnership project between TATE Britain, Tyne & Wear Museums, Norfolk Museums & Archaeology Service, Museums Sheffield and Iniva which encourages the public to join in a debate about British art, identity and Britishness.
A series of high profile exhibitions at the Millennium Gallery will take place in 2011 and 2012. We are working with young people and communities to create new interpretations of artwork in these exhibitions and to create learning resources in particular for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Basic Skills learners.
The Great British Art Debate is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, MLA Renaissance Yorkshire and TATE Visual Dialogues.
